Under the direction of Riccardo Chailly and Pablo Heras-Casado, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra will perform selected Beethoven symphonies as well as the violin concerto with violin shooting star Daniel Lozakovich. Fabulous soloists from the orchestra will also perform a chamber concert with works by Dvořák and Tchaikovsky.
Since 2022, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra no longer only performs in summer. It also attracts classical music fans from all over the world to Lucerne in spring, when it organises a three-day festival of music on the weekend around Palm Sunday, focusing on one composer at a time with orchestral and chamber concerts.
