Over the Fräkmüntegg from Lake Lucerne (Hergiswil) into the Eigenthal. Pleasant circular route, combined with a boat trip for example from Lucerne, a part by gondola lift to Alpgschwänd, and comfortably back to Lucerne by post bus.

From Hergiswil along the Mülibach, then the aerial cableway takes guests to the mountain restaurant Alpgschwänd. After the rest, walk in one and a half hours over the Fräkmüntegg to the alpine restaurant Unterlauelen and from the Eigenthal valley floor take the post bus to Lucerne.

Along the way, you pass the mountain restaurant Alpgschwänd with traditional Central Swiss specialties as well as the restaurant Fräkmüntegg. At the end of the route, you can also stop at the alpine restaurant Unterlauelen. Those who enjoy peace, nature, and traditional farmer’s dishes are exactly right here.
