Forest track Bödmeren

From the pavilion (parking lot) at Unteren Roggenloch you reach the small road in a few minutes and follow it to Oberen Roggenloch. From here it goes in moderate gradient to the culmination point on the east side of the Roggenstöcklis. Here the path forks towards Twärenen (Silberen) and Wolfsbüel and on to Alp Tor. However, the theme trail leads us down the Roggenstöckli with its marmot plangg. We continue through an open forest zone with birch stands and a fantastic view of the Forstberg and Druesberg chain. You follow the path over impressive cart fields to Stägen and turn right at the turn-off to reach the road to Oberen Roggenloch again after a short time. At the signpost we turn left again and end the tour at the alpine restaurant Unteres Roggenloch.
