Grimsel Pass: Innertkirchen - Gletsch

Tip
32.25 km long
Great panorama
Car
Meringues, marmots, and the steepest funicular railway in Europe guarantee an unforgettable ride over the Grimsel Pass (2165 m above sea level).

The Grimsel Pass (2165 m above sea level) connects Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland with Gletsch in Valais. The drive through the wild, barren mountain landscape will delight drivers. In addition to granite rock, reservoirs and power plants shape the image in one of the richest mineral areas of the Alps. Berg crystals can be admired at the Strahler Museum in Guttannen. A ride on the steepest funicular railway in Europe, the Gelmerbahn, is also worth a trip.
