Those who like to hike off the beaten paths will find relaxation in the quiet mountain nature on this route. First, you will have a view of the majestically towering Mythen and the impressive rockslide area at Rossberg. Even today, you can clearly see where in 1806 more than 20 million cubic meters of rock broke loose, burying the village of Goldau beneath it. In the lower section, the path leads through romantic mountain forests to Rigi Klösterli. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe already stayed overnight here on his first Swiss trip (1775). He was inspired by the enchanting Rigi and noted that "around me is the glory of the world." Discover breathtaking distant and deep views yourself.
