An easy hike with a grandiose mountain panorama. Take the cogwheel railway from Goldau to Rigi Kulm. Behind the mountain chapel, a wide path leads down to Rigi Staffel. There you cross the tracks and follow the railway track for a few metres until the path branches off to the left to Rigi First. The subsequent path to Rigi Wölfertschen is also well signposted. Return to Goldau by train. Magnificent views over the Swiss midlands to the Black Forest and the Vosges, to the ring of the Alps as well as breathtaking views of the majestic Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug await you.
The hike can also be done in the opposite direction.

Directions & Parking facilities
Take the A4 motorway to the Goldau exit.
Metered parking is available at the Rigi Bahnen stations (Goldau A4 and Kräbel).
However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: sit back, enjoy and do something good for the environment to boot.
