- Destination: Mörlialp
Mörlialp is located in the heart of Switzerland in the municipality of Giswil in the canton of Obwalden. Small but impressive – this applies to the winter paradise high above the Sarneraa valley and Lake Sarnersee. The mini ski area is clear and family-friendly, situated in nature and still easily accessible without a gondola ride.
The short cross-country trail at the foot of the Giswilerstock starts at 1300 meters above sea level. Thanks to its elevation, it usually lies above the fog line in the sun. The cozy circular route starts at the Mörlialp ski school and consists of two loops. Across meadow terrain – alternating with slight downhill and slight uphill – it goes to Rinderalp and back.
Because the trail is short and only has a few altitude meters, it is very suitable for beginners. During a break, you can enjoy the panorama into the Sarneraa valley.
Using the Rinderalp trail is free of charge!
