Enjoy the seventh and final stage of Route 1291 to the fullest once again. From Sursee it leads to Beromünster with the magnificent St. Michael’s Collegiate Church. From here, head to Heidegg Castle and Heidegg Winery, take a detour into the Aargau region to Beinwil and then back to Hochdorf in Lucerne canton. Enjoy the Seetal around Lake Baldegg and let the landscape take effect. Slowly but surely, you will feel how the landscape becomes more urban as you pass through the Lucerne agglomeration. After Rothenburg and Emmenbrücke, the route leads you back to the starting point of Route 1291 at Lucerne station. Now treat yourself to a cool drink in a nice bar on Lake Lucerne or a delicious ice cream in one of the many gelaterias in the city.
