Schacherseppli adventure trail

Ruedi Rymann became the most famous person from Giswil through his work. In his honor and inspired by his famous hit "Der Schacherseppli," there is now the Schacherseppli adventure trail. This trail presents the life and work of Ruedi Rymann as an experience in the beautiful nature.

Shorter and longer versions
The adventure trail starts at Bahnhof Giswil. A large wooden carved Schacherseppli figure marks the starting point. Special signposts lead to Bahnhofweg, where the first station is located in the old railway station stable. The adventure trail consists of a shorter and a longer route.

The shorter path (approx. 4 km) is dedicated to the song "Der Schacherseppli" and is marked in blue. The longer, red-marked route (approx. 10 km) was created in memory of the yodeler, gamekeeper, and nature lover Ruedi Rymann.

The shorter route is accessible for strollers and wheelchair users; however, the bridge over the Laui is only 80 cm wide.
