The mountain route from Stäfeli up to Mittaggüpfi is strenuous, but you are rewarded with a particularly spectacular view.

From Stäfeli, follow the little road to Trochenmattegg. After a short section through the forest, the marked mountain path to Mittaggüpfi branches off to the right. The fairly steep but not too long ascent rewards you with one of the most beautiful views over the Central Plateau as well as the Central Swiss and Bernese Alps.
