Why “Velvet Vibes”? Because that’s exactly what happens when the duo’s music fills the room: velvety sounds wash over the space, creating subtle vibrations that linger. The band embodies musical closeness, intimacy, and the courage to embrace emotion—without pathos or a lot of fanfare.
At the center is Patricia Cossar. Her voice is powerful and direct, soft and vulnerable, playful and rhythmic. She lends songs like “Black Coffee,” “Loverman,” and “The Shadow of Your Smile” a unique flavor—while also bringing modern touches of pop and chanson to the stage, such as with “Je veux” by ZAZ or “Moondance” by Van Morrison.
At the piano, Stefan Joss provides accompaniment with a wide musical range. His playing is understated when space is needed and prominent when it carries the song—always in service of the songs. In addition to well-known classics, some of his own compositions also find their place in the programme.
Velvet Vibes invite you to a concert that slows the pace, moves the heart, and surprises—right next to the lake.
