A cultural tour through Meggen with open studios, encounters and special insights into the local art scene.
On Saturday, 20 June, and Sunday, 21 June 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., around 25 artists and filmmakers from Meggen, as well as the Galerie Benzeholz, Meggenhorn Castle, and the Artothek, open their doors to the public.
Experience art up close
Discover art where it is created: stroll from studio to studio, talk to artists and experience painting, sculpture, photography and more in inspiring surroundings. MOAT is no ordinary tour, but a creative journey through the whole of Meggen.
MOAT-KIDS - art throughout the village
Children and young people present their works in shop windows throughout the village. Meggen is transformed into an open gallery!
Limited postcard edition
Around 30 motifs from young talents, freshly printed - ideal for sending, collecting or as a souvenir.
Saturday evening: MOAT movie night
Cinema atmosphere in Meggen with film and exclusive test screen viewings -- including an exchange with filmmakers.
