Music pavilion: Meierskappel Music Society

The Meierskappel Music Society has been cultivating communal and sociable brass music for 181 years. Around 40 musicians, from young to old, enjoy making music. The rehearsals are not just for practicing: the performances are an integral part of Meierskappel's calendar of events. As a second-class harmony band, the society regularly competes with other brass bands at cantonal and national music days and music festivals.
