Music pavilion: Perlen-Buchrain Music Society

The Perlen-Buchrain Music Society has been playing brass music for over 90 years, enriching the cultural diversity of the community. Over 35 musicians are involved in the social life of the village. The repertoire ranges from rock, pop and classical sounds to swinging, modern and film music melodies. Regular concerts characterize the association's year, including the big annual concert in spring with a theme, the Advent concert and smaller neighbourhood and birthday concerts.

The Musikgesellschaft has also performed on major stages, for example in 2011 and 2021 together with the Lucerne choir at the KKL, and internationally in Fosnavåg with a Norwegian orchestra that is a friend of the orchestra. In addition to music, friendship plays an important role, evident at social events such as ski weekends, graduation evenings and music trips. Rehearsals take place on Thursdays for two hours in the Hinterleisibach auditorium in Buchrain, under the direction of André Brun since 2022.
