Elena Fischer, born in 1987, studied comparative literature and film studies in Mainz, where she lives with her family. Her debut "Paradise Garden" (2023) immediately became a bestseller and was nominated for the German Book Prize as well as the debut prize of the Harbour Front Literature Festival in the same year. "Paradise Garden" has already been translated into 15 languages. Her second novel "Cast a Shadow" will be published on July 22, 2026.
