Wildlife watching
At 5.55 a.m., the gamekeeper greets the guests at the Brunni cable car valley station. Together, everyone takes the cable car from Engelberg to Ristis.
First on paths, later off the beaten track, the gamekeeper will guide you through the Brunni area towards the Rugghubel hut. Where possible, he will show you wild animals such as chamois, ibex and marmots and explain their behaviour. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the stunning views in the game reserve.
At around 10.00 a.m. you will reach the Rugghubelhütte SAC, where the guided hike is over and a delicious alpine breakfast is already waiting for you. The return is individual and no longer guided. You have the option of going directly to Ristis (hiking time approx. 2 hours), but you can also take a short diversions to Lake Härzli (hiking time also approx. 2 hours). Here you can treat your feet on the tickle trail and your taste buds in the Brunnihütte before returning to the valley on foot or by train.
