The restaurant is open in summer and offers simple meals and various drinks. The unique view can be enjoyed on the cozy terrace. The alpine farm also runs a farm store with its own products and is also easily accessible with baby carriages.
Every summer, up to 150,000 kg of the finest alpine milk from around 115 cows is processed in the alp cheese dairy. The latest addition to the diverse range of products is Glaubenbieler Alp-Brie, for the development of which the Zumstein family received the Canton of Obwalden's 2016 Innovation Award.
Accessibility
From the panoramic road Giswil - Sörenberg, a road branches off to the right 800 m below the summit at the large parking lot and leads to the Schwendeli and Glaubenbielen Alps (1579 m). Distance from the cantonal road approx. 800 m. The path to the Lochhütte (1480 m) branches off approx. 800 m later.
