Experience up close the place where a bitter battle between the Confederates and the Habsburgs took place on July 9, 1386.

Marvel at the stone dedicated to the battle and the hero Winkelried and find out why luck was on the side of the Confederates over 600 years ago. Pause in the battle chapel and remember the victims that the war claimed on both sides.

Aperitifs are available on request directly at the chapel or in the Schlacht restaurant, and visits and guided tours can be supplemented with presentations and stories on request.
