The Gummen Alpine cheese dairy is located at 1,400 metres above sea level above the Schwyz valley basin, on the idyllic Haggenegg at the foot of the Kleiner Mythen.

From Schwyz, a mountain road leads via Ried, Schwandacher and Ehrisberg up to Haggenegg. A few metres after the Haggenegg mountain inn is the Gummen alpine cheese dairy.
