The cozy Ägerisee route along a picturesque pre-Alpine lake promises pure enjoyment. It can be perfectly combined with a visit to the Morgarten site and the "Haus Nideröst", which is considered the oldest wooden house in Europe.

The Ägerisee is also called the "pearl" of the canton of Zug – and not without reason. Nestled in a picturesque pre-Alpine valley, the lake has a very special charm in every season. The Ägerisee route offers inline skaters good asphalt and wide sidewalks, which must be shared with walkers and joggers. Many viewing benches and restaurants along the route invite you to rest and make this ride a cozy experience. But history enthusiasts will also get their money's worth, as a visit to the Morgarten monument or the 800-year-old Nideröst house can be perfectly combined with the skating pleasure.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

Those who want to make the Ägeri route into an Ägerisee round can either take a pair of trainers or Nordic cross skates. Equipped like this, the unpaved sections of the path can also be easily passed.
