This route passes by Altishofen Castle on varied paths over wide fields and bright forests. At Bellevue, there is a beautiful view of the Alps and the Jura chain.

A first highlight of the hike awaits us right at the beginning with the magnificent ensemble of church, castle, and granary. The path then leads us through the castle forest to the former Kurhaus Richenthal, once a famous Kneipp spa and hydrotherapy institution. It continues past farms and meadows towards Erpolingen, offering increasingly beautiful views and panoramas. At Bellevue, which lives up to its name, you can see from Säntis to the Bernese Alps and the Jura chain when the visibility is good. In less than an hour, we reach the village of Grossdietwil.
