The starting point Oberalppass is closed to traffic in winter and therefore not directly accessible. To get there, you must first drive by car to Sedrun or Andermatt and continue by train from there. Once the pass is opened in spring, driving up to the pass height is possible again.
When the pass is open, parking is available directly at Oberalppass. If the pass is closed, parking spaces can be used in Andermatt or Sedrun.
The starting point Oberalppass is easily accessible by the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. You can find the current timetable at www.sbb.ch.
