Piz Cavradi is a unique destination for ski touring enthusiasts who want to get to know the Val Maighels even better.
This easy ski tour starts at the Oberalp Pass and begins with a descent to Plauncas Cuflegl. From there, the ascent leads through the impressive Maighel Valley toward the Maighels Hut.
At the start, the route follows the summer road for a few meters before branching off to the right toward Tgatlems. It then continues mostly along the road to the Maighels Hut. After a break at the hut, the final ascent takes about an hour northeast to the summit at 2,614 m above sea level.
Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can split the tour over two days and spend the night at the Maighelshütte.
