Bike route Klausenpass-Eggberge

You take the post bus comfortably from Flüelen up to Hotel Klausenpass. Already during the ride, you have time to enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Schächental. Those who want to conquer the Klausenpass with the bike must allow about 2 hours for the ascent. The post bus ride ends at Hotel Klausenpass. After a short descent on the pass road to Alp Rustigen, a natural road branches off to the right at the hairpin bend, leading you to Alp Heidmanegg. A small descent is initiated by a somewhat rough and steep path, which soon merges into an asphalt road that rises again at Seewli and brings another elevation gain of about 200 meters. Following this, you can expect a sort of roller coaster track, continuing up to Fleschsee. Around the small mountain lake, there are many places to rest, and if you have enough time, you should not miss the view from Hüderegg (variant A). The subsequent descent with its roughly 1400 meters of altitude makes the hearts of experienced as well as less trained bikers beat faster.
