The route begins at the community center in Büron and follows a scenic loop through the village and its surroundings. Along quiet neighborhood streets, field paths, and hiking trails, you’ll discover historic sites, idyllic viewpoints, and charming landscapes. Along the way, ten stops invite you to linger before you return to the starting point in the village center. Depending on how much time you have, you can choose between three route options of varying lengths.

Getting there

Büron is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. By car, you can reach the village via the A2 (Sursee exit) or the main roads from Sursee, Lucerne, and Aarau.

Parking

Paid and public parking is available at locations including the Träff-Ponkt (Bahnhofstrasse 10), the school building, on Aarauerstrasse, and at the cemetery. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the start of the loop trail. Träff-Ponkt Parking Lot, Büron Parking Lot, Church Parking Lot

Public transportation

If you're traveling by public transportation, you can easily reach Büron by bus from Sursee or Schöftland. The starting point for the Gwunderspaziergang is at the community center in the village center.
