Tree Experience Trail in the Sempachersee Region

The Surenweg Tree Experience Trail takes you along an 800-meter-long tree hedge along the Sure river between Sursee and Geuensee. Along sections of 20 to 30 meters, 27 native tree species are presented in more detail on information boards.

In addition to typical characteristics, you will learn a lot of interesting information about ecological, historical, mythological, and folk medicinal features of each species. Furthermore, 14 stations invite you to engage playfully with trees. Some of these points also encourage careful observation.
