BUIRÄBÄHNLI SAFARI Stage 3

The complete multi-day Buiräbähnli Safari takes 17.30 hours (pure hiking time) and promises impressive moments in nature, authentic encounters, and nostalgic cable car experiences on every stage.

The 3rd and final stage starts at Alp Oberfeld and leads over the Walen path to Brunni and back to Engelberg. After just a few steps, you immerse yourself in a world full of wide views, alpine tranquility, and pristine mountain landscape.

The last stage of the Buiräbähnli Safari begins at Alp Oberfeld and continues over the scenic Walen path towards Brunni.

Here, a short rest with views of the surrounding peaks is worthwhile – before descending to the Ristis mountain station and further down to Oberbord.

There, the last Buiräbähnli of the tour awaits, which takes you comfortably down to the valley. Those who find the descent too long can also choose the chairlift and cable car combination from the Brunnihütte (not included in the Bähnli pass).

You can return to Engelberg station either on foot or very comfortably by the free summer bus from the Brunni valley station.

via Zentralbahn bis Wolfenschiessen
mit dem Postauto nach Oberrickenbach
mit der Kleinseilbahn Fellboden-Bannalp hoch zur Bannalp und dann die Wanderung Richtung Alp Oberfeld starten
