An easy hike with magnificent mountain panorama. Take the cogwheel railway from Goldau to Rigi Kulm. Behind the mountain chapel, a wide path leads down to Rigi Staffel. There you cross the tracks and follow the railway line a few meters until the path branches left to Rigi First. The following path to Rigi Wölfertschen is also well signposted. Return to Goldau by train. Splendid views over the Swiss Plateau all the way to the Black Forest and the Vosges, over the Alpine range, as well as breathtaking views down onto the majestic Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug await you.
The hike can also be done in the opposite direction.

Directions & Parking facilities
At the stations of the Rigi railways (Goldau A4 and Kräbel), paid parking spaces are available.
However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: Sit back, enjoy, and do something good for the environment.
Rigi Kulm, the starting point of the hike, is easily accessible by the cogwheel railway. We recommend you travel via Goldau.
