Take the cogwheel railway from Goldau or Vitznau up to Rigi Kulm. Behind the mountain chapel, a wide hiking trail leads down to the Rigi Staffel station. This effortless alpine hike offers magnificent views over the Swiss Plateau to the Black Forest and the Vosges. Let yourself be enchanted by spectacular views down to Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug. You will enjoy a high pleasure with minimal effort.
The hike can also be done in the opposite direction.

You can reach the Rigi Kulm station by cogwheel railway from Vitznau or Goldau.
The hiking ticket for this hike includes the following train rides:
- from Vitznau / Weggis to Rigi Kulm by cogwheel railway or cable car
- from Rigi Kaltbad to Vitznau / Weggis by cogwheel railway or cable car
