Circular route Lungerersee

From Lungern train station, start walking to the emerald green lake. Continue towards Obsee, past the beach and the campsite to the valley station of the Lungern-Turren funicular. 200 meters after the cable car station, you pass the "Dundelsbach" waterfall. A short detour to this unique two-stage fall is worth it. It is under national protection status. 

On a beautiful path between the forest edge and the lake, continue leisurely to Bürglen. After a refreshment at the Restaurant Kaiserstuhl, the second half of the walk leads back to Lungern, passing nicely located fire pits and the old historic church tower.

On the A2 from Lucerne, in the tunnel switch to the A8 towards Interlaken, change at Sarnen and follow the road to Lungern. Before the bypass tunnel, merge right onto the main road to Lungern.
