A beautiful circular route through the countryside and nature from Nottwil to Buttisholz. Enjoy the tranquility in the forests and the view of Lake Sempach.

From Nottwil, the hiking route leads through the hamlet of Bühl up to the idyllic Schloss Tannfels overlooking Lake Sempach, which is privately owned today. During the ascent, you enjoy a unique view of the lake, which is framed on both sides by gentle hills.

Upon reaching Bluemeberg, the hiking trail follows the edge of the Sigerswilerwald and passes through the Gustibergwald. You eventually reach Buttisholz, a peaceful rural community in the green Lucerne Roth Valley. Treat yourself to a refreshment here or take a look inside the parish church.

Along the flank of Bluemeberg, you cross again from the Rot Valley into the Suren Valley and back to Nottwil. Finish your hike and enjoy a refreshment at the beach bar.
