Experience route: Sursee-Sempach-Sursee

You start in Sursee and first pass the wonderful Mauensee heading towards Willisau. In Ettiswil, turn left and ride through the entire Rottal via Grosswangen, Butthisholz to Ruswil. The St. Ottilien chapel in Butthisholz is worth the small detour from the route. In Ruswil you enjoy an overwhelming view of the Central Swiss Alps. Then it goes quite fast down to Emmen, the turning point of the route. You ride back overland to Sempach with wonderful views. Maybe you visit the ostrich farm in Sempach, where the quite special birds like visitors. Afterwards you return to Sursee via the Roman road.
