Family hike Eggberge - Biel
The hike from Eggberge to Biel leaves nothing to be desired. The ride on the aerial cableway from Flüelen to Eggberge is already worthwhile for the unique view. At the beginning, we hike slightly uphill to Hüenderegg. Here, we can picnic. But we can also just enjoy the view and walk a few more minutes to Fleschseeli, where the children can play wonderfully. Here, we can also get refreshments at the alpine kiosk.
From there, we continue towards Biel, now always slightly downhill. We take a short refreshment break at the mountain inn Selez. Now the path gently descends into the Schächental. Those who are tired can end the hike with the Ruoggig train. It's not far to Biel anymore (about 50 minutes).

By bus, you can reach the valley station of the Flüelen - Eggberge aerial cableway in three minutes from Flüelen station. Alternatively, you can walk about 15 minutes.
From the valley station of the Bürglen - Biel aerial cableway, you can conveniently reach Flüelen station by post bus.
