Finnenloipe Rothenthurm 11km
Our unique moorland is crossed in winter by a beautifully designed cross-country ski trail. The 11 km loop is somewhat challenging, with a steep climb after 2.5 km and a short, steeper descent after 4.5 km. The trail is prepared for both classic and skating techniques.

Directions & Parking facilities
From motorway A4, exit Schwyz via Schwyz/Sattel or from motorway A3, exit Samstagern via Biberbrugg to Rothenthurm
- Paid parking lots on Müllernstrasse
- Market hall parking lot
Direct connections with the Voralpen-Express exist from St. Gallen/Rapperswil and Luzern/Küssnacht. From Luzern, Rothenthurm is reachable with the Voralpen-Express in about 50 minutes. Access from the train station and bus stop is via the underpass!
Alternatively, a direct bus runs from Schwyz to the Rothenthurm train station bus stop.
