From Eigenthal over Fräkmüntegg and Krienseregg

Circular route:
The ski tour starts at the Gantersei parking lot. Follow the road towards Alpwirtschaft Unterlauelen. At the last junction before reaching the alpine inn, turn left (watch for signposts). Across the field, you will soon reach the Ober Lauelen viewpoint. Now continue climbing through the forest to Lauelenegg at 1,442 m above sea level. Traverse along the summer hiking trail to Fräkmüntegg. At 1,469 m above sea level, you reach the highest point of the route. Remove your skins here. Follow the ridge comfortably to the cable car station. From there, first follow the road to Mülimäs and then on the toboggan run (caution sledders) to the Naturfreundehaus. Shortly after the building, turn left onto the road. Over about 500 meters, you will have a few meters of elevation to overcome. Then continue straight on the road past Cholgruebe to the bridge at Dorschnei. There the ascent begins again. Through the forest, follow the summer hiking trail up to P.1040 at the edge of the forest. Across the field, climb the last few meters to Chräigütsch. For the last part of the descent, first follow the summer hiking trail further, then along the road back to the Gantersei parking lot.

Variant:
If you do not have to return to the Gantersei parking lot, descending to Holderchäppeli (post bus stop) is a good alternative. Adequate snow is the prerequisite.
