On safe paths from Rigi Kulm to Rigi Kaltbad - with panoramic detours and a romantic stop-off point.

Instead of following the railroad directly from Rigi Kulm to Rigi Staffel, we recommend first descending on the signposted trail to the Kulmhütte. From there, a wide winter hiking trail leads in the direction of Rigi Staffel, taking a short detour along country roads. From Staffel, we follow the railroad to Staffelhöhe. Then follow the always well-trodden winter panoramic trail to the panoramic Rigi Känzeli, from where a well-maintained winter hiking trail leads to Rigi Kaltbad.
