- Start: Rest area with forest house Bründlichrüz
- Destination: Stierenberg summit
From Bründlichrüz, the hike leads down through the forest into the Sagenbachtäli, passing the Bad Schwarzenberg inn. The former spa burned down in 1935, and the spa and healing operations were discontinued at that time. However, the restaurant was rebuilt and continued operation, and the mineral spring still bubbles today, serving excellent water to guests. After crossing the small bridge, the path leads up to the Geisshof plain. Hungry hikers can make a detour to the Geisshof restaurant, known for its fish cuisine featuring trout. The route passes through the forest by the two forest huts of Reinach and Pfeffikon LU (outdoor grill places available), ascending to the summit of the Stierenberg at 872 m elevation.
