The focus on the Milk-Herbs-Cheese path is experiencing with all the senses. Playfully making cheese, being a farmer or farmer’s wife at the mini farm, or finding matching picture pairs in the herbs memory game delights the children, while information accessible via QR codes or a virtual tour of the cheese dairy conveys a lot of knowledge about agriculture and dairy farming for everyone.
At the Luegmatt farm with the sign "Stable visit" you can look into the stable. Please observe the stable visit rules. Benches along the path and a nice seating area at Neue Napfmilch AG invite you to rest. At the end of the path there is a fireplace with a table and also a photo competition. Send in your favorite picture and take part in a raffle.

Directions
The flat path follows the Wigger creek. You walk on a meadow path as well as on a natural road. About half of the path is paved. The path is suitable for strollers. A slightly steeper section can be bypassed if desired.

Arrival:
Travel by train or bus to Willisau and continue by post bus to Hergiswil LU, village.
2 minutes to the starting point of the path at Stumpehus, shop and tourist information, Steinacher 2, 6133 Hergiswil near Willisau.
Return trip:
2 minutes walk from the end of the Milk-Herbs-Cheese path at signpost 13. Travel by post bus from the stop Hübeli LU, Hintersagi to Willisau.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
The path can also be walked as a circular hike. Continue hiking from Hübeli along the hiking trail towards Hergiswil village. Later, turn back onto the Milk-Herbs-Cheese path.
Safety guidelines
Guests with strollers can choose between the slightly steep ramp at signpost 13 to stay on the hiking trail or walk to the village road. From there, head towards Hergiswil village to the next bridge to get back onto the hiking trail.
