We start at the hamlet Ribi in Unterschächen and slowly ascend along the wild Schächenbach to the Alp Aesch, where one of the most impressive dust waterfalls in the Alps captures our attention. Through a romantic forest, we reach the "Oberalp." There you can admire a primitive alpine hut. The alpine museum displays traditional cheesemaking tools. Additionally, you can enjoy fresh alpine cheese at the Alpbeizli. Over the diverse cow pastures, we reach the Wäspenseeli, the highest point of the hike. The descent to Alp Wannelen offers many beautiful views. By cable car, we return to our starting point, the hamlet Ribi in Unterschächen.
