If you cannot complete the ridge route from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock, you do not have to miss the special panoramic experience. The panorama route is basically a mini-version that focuses on the final highlight of the ridge route. You travel to the car-free resort village of Stoos at 1300 meters with the steepest funicular railway in the world. Then you go up to the 1922 meter high Fronalpstock by chairlift. Once at the top, the view overwhelms you. Ten lakes and countless peaks of Central Switzerland lie at our feet. The comfortable route, accessible with an all-terrain stroller, runs relatively flat and leads back to the Fronalpstock Hotel | Restaurant. The little ones can enjoy the large playground or play around with the dwarf goats. The picnic area at the playground and various rest areas at the summit invite you to linger.
