The Rossbodenstock entices with its summit flank and offers interesting, sometimes challenging ski descents.

The Rossbodenstock offers interesting and partly challenging ski descents and is usually combined with the ascent of the Pazolastock. However, the mountain is located at the edge of a wildlife protection zone, which should be taken into account when choosing routes.

Directions & Parking facilities

The starting point Oberalppass is closed to traffic in winter and therefore not directly accessible. To reach it, you must first drive to Sedrun or Andermatt by car and then continue by train. Once the pass opens in spring, driving to the pass summit is possible again.

When the pass is open, parking is available directly at Oberalppass. If the pass is closed, parking spaces can be used in Andermatt or Sedrun.

The starting point Oberalppass is easily accessible by the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. You can find the current timetable at: www.sbb.ch.
