The Rossbodenstock offers interesting and sometimes racy ski runs and is usually combined with the ascent of the Pazolastock. However, the mountain is located on the edge of a wildlife refuge zone, which must be taken into account when choosing routes.

Directions & Parking facilities

The Oberalp Pass starting point is closed to traffic in winter and therefore not directly accessible. To get there, you first have to drive to Sedrun or Andermatt and continue by train from there. As soon as the pass opens in spring, it will be possible to drive to the top of the pass again.

When the pass is open, parking is available directly on the Oberalp Pass. If the pass is closed, parking spaces can be used in Andermatt or Sedrun.

The Oberalp Pass starting point is easily accessible with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. You can find the current timetable at: www.sbb.ch.
