Ruedi Rymann became the most famous person from Giswil through his work. In his honor and inspired by his famous hit "Dr Schacherseppli," there is now the Schacherseppli adventure trail. This trail presents Ruedi Rymann's work as an experience in the beautiful nature.
The adventure trail starts at Giswil train station. A large wooden carved Schacherseppli figure marks the starting point. Special signposts lead to Bahnhofweg, where the first station is located in the old train station stable.
The shorter path is about 4 km long and dedicated to the song "Der Schacherseppli." This path is marked in blue. The route is accessible for strollers and wheelchair users. Note that the bridge over the Laui is only 80 cm wide.

From Lucerne on the A2, switch in the tunnel to the A8 towards Interlaken, change at Sarnen, and follow the road to Giswil.
From Interlaken via Brünig on the A8 to the Giswil exit.
