The snowshoe routes on Haldi start at the mountain station of the Schattdorf-Haldi cable car. Two routes are marked. The route presented here is marked red and considered rather demanding. Its turning point is at 1,450 meters above sea level.
Beginners can take the blue marked shortcut. This route is only 3.7 kilometers long and requires 1.5 hours of hiking time.

- Getting thereBy car, drive towards Gotthard to the Altdorf/Flüelen exit. At the first roundabout, turn towards Altdorf. You drive through Altdorf. At the second roundabout after Altdorf, turn towards Gotthard. After a few hundred meters, turn left towards Schattdorf. In the middle of the village, you will find the valley station of the Schattdorf - Haldi cable car on the left.ParkingThere are enough parking spaces directly at the valley station of the Schattdorf - Haldi cable car.Public transportationYou can reach the valley station of the Schattdorf - Haldi cable car directly by bus from Flüelen station
