Directions
The bike route starts at Stansstad train station and then passes through the lakeside community of Stansstad towards Harissen Bay. Here begins a narrow lakeside road along Lake Lucerne to Kehrsiten. This road is partly blasted into the rock. Shortly after Harissen Bay, the former military fortress Fürigen appears, a 200-meter-long cave system. Today it is open as a museum from April to October. Kehrsiten is, far from the hustle and bustle, an oasis of relaxation.
