Along the wild waters of the Muota to scattered farms and past culturally and historically valuable buildings back to the starting point in Wyl.

From the village part Wyl, follow the hiking trail along the south side of the Muota. Past the historic St. Joseph monastery, the path leads you to the "Gampälistäg," which takes you to the other side of the Muota. You stay on this side of the Muota and then follow the road towards Stalden / Pragel. Shortly before the bridge over the wild Teufbach, leave the sidewalk and follow the gravel road uphill. A bench at the edge of the forest invites you to rest before you slowly walk back towards the village along the asphalt road. The south slope is called "Sonnenhalb" for a reason and is often used as a walking path. From the hamlet Hoftrog with its well-kept Schwyz farmhouses, the path leads back along the road to Wyl. Don't forget to take a look inside the culturally valuable Baroque church of St. Sigismund before relaxing with cake and coffee.
