Discover a total of 50 kilometers of trails in classical and skating style on the Marbach-Escholzmatt-Bumbach trail network and enjoy the incomparable view. The Wiggen-Camping trail runs parallel to the Ilfis from Wiggen to the Sternen campsite in Marbach. Few sections run through forest. Several post bus stops are located near the trail, so the route can also be shortened.
Afterwards, you have several options: from the campsite to Marbach as well as from Wiggen to Escholzmatt or Längmatten.

The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch lies in the heart of Switzerland, centrally between Bern and Lucerne. You can reach Wiggen via main road 10 towards Escholzmatt and from there to Wiggen.
Plan your route with the help of the Google route planner.
A free parking lot is available at the Wiggen schoolhouse.
You can reach Wiggen by public transport via Escholzmatt (Bern-Luzern train line). From Escholzmatt, take the post bus to Wiggen "Egghus". With all cross-country ski passes and tickets, you travel free on the post bus route Escholzmatt–Kemmeriboden during the winter season.
