The village of Sattel is the starting point for this varied circular hike up to the Wildspitz.
The hike leads from Sattel along side roads past farmhouses to LamaHof Sattel. From there it is a leisurely walk across meadows and meadows up to the Obhegkappelle chapel. It is worth taking a short break here before the last, somewhat steeper section of the ascent to the Wildspitz begins. Once you reach the summit of the Wildspitz, you are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Zug, Lake Aegeri, the Rigi and the Central Swiss Alps. After climbing to the summit, the modern mountain inn with its wonderful terrace awaits you on the Wildspitz.
From the Wildspitz to the Halsegg alpine inn, you then walk along the cantonal border between Schwyz and Zug, with fantastic views of nature and the panorama. The descent from Halsegg to Sattel is multi-faceted and offers numerous beautiful views of the landscape.
