This moderate circular hike starts in Sattel and leads to the highest point of the Rossberg, the Wildspitz at 1580 m above sea level, with a wonderful panoramic view.

The starting point of this varied circular hike up to the Wildspitz is the village of Sattel.

The hike leads from Sattel along side roads past farmhouses to the LamaHof Sattel. From there it goes leisurely over meadows and pasture landscapes up to the Obheg chapel. A short rest is worthwhile here before the last somewhat steeper section of the ascent to the Wildspitz begins. Once you reach the summit of the Wildspitz, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Zug, Lake Ägeri, Rigi, and the Central Swiss Alps. After summiting the Wildspitz, the modern mountain guesthouse with a wonderful terrace awaits you.

From the Wildspitz to the alpine inn Halsegg, you walk along the cantonal border between Schwyz and Zug, with fantastic views into nature and the panorama. The descent from Halsegg to Sattel is diverse and offers numerous beautiful landscape insights.

Note(s)
