Wilen am Sarnersee - Luzern

Swing into the saddle for the last stage of the day. Passing Lake Sarnen, Lake Lucerne with its beautiful mountain scenery soon awaits you. After a short stretch you reach Hergiswil, where a visit to the "Glasi", known throughout Switzerland, is worthwhile. After marvelling at the glassblowers, you continue on to Lucerne. There, the landmark - the "Kappelbrücke" (Kappel Bridge) leads you over the Reuss River, across to the charming old town, where delightful cafés invite you to a "Kaffekränzchen" (coffee break). Your destination, the Schweizerhof, is in the immediate vicinity of the old town.
