If you are looking for peace and relaxation, the sunny Arni is just right. The start to this winter wonderland begins at the valley station in Intschi. The cable car brings guests within six minutes to the alpine world in the heart of the canton of Uri. The centerpiece on the sun terrace above Gurtnellen is the frozen Arnisee (1,368 m above sea level), which can be reached after a loop of just under a kilometer. Surrounded by a snow-covered fir forest, the jewel is artificially dammed but still has a very natural character.
The panorama up here is impressive: it ranges from Windgällen to the even, three-sided pyramid of the Bristen.
