Aviation festival for the public
The DCS is organizing an aviation festival in Oberdorf NW (23-24 May 2026) as a thank you for the great support of the authorities and the population. The focus will be on various facets of aviation, complemented by a festival restaurant. At the same time, an international delta flying competition will take place (May 22-25, Whitsun weekend), which will be held as a Swiss and German championship and will also attract Austrian pilots. The number of participants is limited to 70 pilots, with landings at the Schützenhaus.
On Saturday evening, the DCS anniversary party will also be celebrated with an aperitif, dinner and concert. The general public, members and competitors are invited. The party is widely advertised and is designed for around 240 people.
The championship "Stans Open 2026" lasts from Friday May 22nd to Monday May 25th.
The flying festival will take place on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24, 2026.
